DAY 6 - Havelock Island to Neil Island
This is a tiny but beautiful island with unexplored coral reefs, brilliant bio-diversity, white sandy beaches and tropical forest and vegetation. The island, with its very relaxed vibes and long, deserted beaches is a place to chill out after the "bustle" of Havelock.
Drive through green fields and a variety of crops and forest trees to witness silvery sands meeting the turquoise waters of the sea, forming a miraculous painting against the backdrop of the sun against the clear blue sky at Sitapur Beach.
Then head to another perfect beach that comes right out of a picture postcard called Bharatpur Beach. It looks like it has been painted by an artist in his dream and known for swimming and coral-watching with it's vast sandy stretches. Unlike most islands in Andaman, Neil has a flat terrain and that's what makes it an ideal place for cycling. While getting back to your childhood days, we cycle the scenic route of picturesque villages, exploring the coral reefs, calm beaches and rich wildlife to reach Laxmanpur beach.
At Laxmanpur Beach be welcomed with views of white shell sandy beaches and shallow water making it a good snorkeling option. It also offers lots of coral formation, ornamental fish, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, star fish etc. which are best suited to test your scientific temperament. Be ready to be mesmerized with the natural bridge formation, one of the most romantic places in Andaman.
Enjoy an evening on this island with a bonfire in the jungle or beach with taste of live local music.
